I really don’t mind attention whoring.

I like to believe that each and every one of us craves attention sometimes. Some of us more than others. Admittedly, I love attention. It makes me feel good inside; I feel the most alive when people praise me for my work. 

What bothers me the most is when people aren’t forthright and honest about it.

The lie is what bothers me; I hate it when they try to hide their intentions behind false premises.

The more I grow older, the more I see that it’s harder for people to just be darn honest.

Me

In front of me were an old couple sitting next to each other. There was a teenager sitting next to them, and her boyfriend just arrived. The only open seat was a few rows down. Then the old man gets up and goes to the empty seat instead while his wife stands up to let the boyfriend get in next to his girlfriend. It was the sweetest thing ever.
